EMEKA's Legislative Priorities

Strong Public Schools Without Raising Property Taxes

Every child in District 67 deserves access to fully funded, high-quality public schools. Emeka will fight to increase the state’s share of education funding, end wasteful corporate giveaways, and relieve pressure on local property taxpayers—so families in Melissa, Princeton, McKinney, Allen, and Plano aren’t forced to shoulder the burden alone.

Real Property Tax Relief Families Can Feel:

Texans don’t need slogans—they need solutions. Emeka supports stabilizing appraisals, increasing state education funding to lower local tax rates, and bringing transparency and accountability to a system that too often leaves families paying more with little relief.

Affordable, Accessible Healthcare:

As a small-business owner in the healthcare field, Emeka has seen firsthand how rising costs, red tape, and insurance barriers hurt families and workers. He will push for practical, Texas-focused healthcare solutions that reduce bureaucracy, expand access, and support both patients and small businesses.

Smart Growth & Infrastructure That Keeps Pace:

District 67 is growing fast—and state planning hasn’t kept up. Emeka will advocate for responsible investment in roads, water systems, emergency services, and infrastructure so growth strengthens communities instead of overwhelming them.

Safe Communities & Responsible Gun Safety:

Emeka believes safety and freedom go hand in hand. He supports respecting the rights of responsible gun owners while advancing commonsense measures that protect children, families, and first responders and keep communities secure.

Support for Small Businesses & Working Families:

Small businesses are the backbone of District 67. Emeka will work to streamline permitting, cut unnecessary red tape, and strengthen workforce pipelines through partnerships with local schools and Collin College—so families can thrive and businesses can grow.

Leadership Focused on Results, Not Culture Wars:

Emeka is running to move Texas forward—not backward. He believes in pragmatic leadership that listens, solves problems, and puts people above partisan politics and divisive culture-war distractions.
